Post-doctoral Fellowship Opportunity in Seoul, South Korea!
We are now accepting applications for a Post-doctoral Fellowship in the Smart Materials & Design Lab at Dongguk University, Seoul (Department: Mechanical, Robotics, and Energy Engineering)

Position Available:
🔹 Role: Post-doctoral Researcher
🔹 Start Date: July 1, 2025 (flexible)
🔹 Salary:
1. Track 1: 90,000,000 KRW/year (including health insurance and pension)
2. Track 2: 43,000,000 KRW/year (including health insurance and pension)
🔹 Duration: 1 Year (extendable)

Research Areas:
Computational Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, Finite Element Analysis, and Artificial Intelligence applied to Mechanical Engineering problems, Prognostics and Health Management (PHM), Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), Fault Diagnosis, Digital Twins, and Artificial Intelligence applied to Mechanical Engineering problems, with a focus on data-driven modeling, anomaly detection, and real-time monitoring of smart structures and systems.

Eligibility Requirements:
🔹 Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
🔹 Strong background in one or more of the following: Solid Mechanics, FEM, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning for Mechanical Engineering problems.
🔹 Strong publication record and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
