能源管理

香港理工大學, Several PhD/RA positions, 建築能源/電動汽車/能源管理

There are several PhD/Research Assistants positions available in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in the fields of Energy Management, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electric Vehicle, Zero-Emission Vehicle, Smart Transportation, Smart Grid, Zero-Energy Buildings and Communities, and Carbon-neutral technologies.

Preferred starting date of the positions: as early as possible before Jan 2026 (negotiable).

Requirements:
(1) Competence in the energy and dynamic simulation (most preferably TRNSYS) and optimization.

(2)
Qualification requirements:
Final year Master and Bachelor students with excellent academic records are also welcome to apply.
Master graduates or equivalent in the fields of Energy Management, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electric Vehicle, Zero-Emission Vehicle, Smart Transportation, Smart Grid, Zero-Energy Buildings and Communities, and Carbon-neutral technologies.
Bachelor graduates with first honour classification or top-ranking in class are also welcome to apply.

(3) Outstanding academic and publication records.

(4) English Requirement: Applicants who have not obtained a degree of which the language of instruction was English from a recognised university are required to obtain an overall score of at least 6.5 (with score for the writing component at 6.0 or above) in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); or 550 or above in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) for the paper-based test (with a score of at least 4 out of 6 in the Test of Written English), or 80 or above in the internet-based test (with a writing score of 23 or above).

(5) Please provide the reference letters or at least the names and contact of 2 referees who can comment on your academic and educational background: at least one referee should be your current or most recent supervisor.
