Postdocs, graduate student, visiting student positions are available in the Chemical Biology Group of Dr. Han Xiao at Rice University (https://xiao.rice.edu). The focus of our research is the development of innovative chemical tools allowing us to understand complex biology system as well as develop novel therapeutic strategies. More information on the research program can be found at: https://xiao.rice.edu

We are currently accepting applications for highly self-motivated postdocs, graduate student, visiting students with one of the following expertise:

1. Medicinal Chemistry: We are looking for scholars with experiences in Medicinal Chemistry to join this project. Candidates with experiences in Drug Discovery, Organic Synthesis, Total Synthesis, and/or Methodology are preferred.

2. Biomedical Imaging: We are looking for scholars with experiences in BioMedicinal Imaging to join this project. Candidates with experiences with in vivo fluorescence imaging, photoacoustic imaging, dye engineering, lymphatic imaging are preferred.

3. Cancer biology: We are looking for scholars with experiences in Cancer biology and Translational research to join this project. Candidates with experiences in animal study, are preferred.

4. Protein and Cell Engineering: We are looking for scholars with experiences in protein and cell engineering to join this project. Candidates with experiences in genome editing, CRISPR-Cas system, protein engineering, and/or cell engineering are preferred.
