[交流] 【求助】求aspen 公司polymer plus创始人名字【已解决】

求aspen tech 公司的一名副总的名字,此人是一位美籍华人(貌似是台湾),他的博士论文是有关聚合物模拟方面的,同时开创了聚合物模拟的先河,在他的博士论文基础上,aspen公司聘请他牵头开发了polymer plus?,并且升为副总。

这是我所知道的一点点资料,不一定准确,请知道的高手给指点一下,20金币赠送,谢谢。

Chau-Chyun Chen, a founder of Aspen Technology, Inc., currently serves as a Technology Fellow responsible for AspenTech’s applied physical property and chemical industry process modeling business and technology development.  Before joining AspenTech, he was a researcher on the Aspen Project at MIT.  He received ScD and MS degrees in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1980 and in 1977, and a BS degree in chemistry from the National Taiwan University in 1973.

Dr. Chen’s professional interests reside mainly in the areas of applied thermodynamics, reaction engineering, and process modeling and simulation.  At AspenTech, he engages in various research and development and business management activities to extend molecular thermodynamic models and first principles-based process modeling technologies from applications in hydrocarbon/petrochemical processes to applications in inorganic chemical and polymer manufacturing processes.  He is the inventor of the electrolyte NRTL model and the polymer NRTL model in AspenTech’s process modeling tools, which are widely used to model industrial processes involving complex chemical systems with electrolytes and with polymers.  More recently, his research activities have extended to pharmaceutical and biological product and process modeling.

Dr. Chen is the recipient of the 2001 Computing Practice Award, Computing and Systems Technology (CAST) Division of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), and the 1984 Ted Peterson Student Paper Award also from CAST Division of AIChE.  He is an editorial board member of the International Journal of Fluid Phase Equilibria.  Dr. Chen is a member of the American Chemical Society, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the Chinese American Chemical Society.  He has published over 50 technical papers and patents.
