【求助】time release agent是什么含义？

请教各位，time release agent是什么含义呢? 最近一个工作在修改，是合成了金属NPs@SiO2 core-shell结构的纳米粒子，然后用于催化反应。催化后表面积和催化前基本不变，而 TEM显示核内的颗粒在催化后稍微变大一点。 审稿人提到： Is the SiO2 a time release agent? Based on the authors results I think the most logical eplantion is that the SiO2 core/shell particles act as time release reagents. Only a small number release their catalyst to the solution during any experiment. This would explain the consistent surface areas and the consistent TEMs before and after reaction. 多谢各位！ |
