The candidates are expected to work on projects in Biomedical Engineering by combining multiscale modeling and scientific machine learning. Dr. He Li has been working on multiscale modeling of biological processes in blood diseases, such as sickle cell disease, hereditary spherocytosis and elliptocytosis, and thrombosis for over 10 years.
