投了一篇文章到catalysis communication, 需要major revision，可是很奇怪的是审稿人没有提技术性的问题，只让修改语言，编辑就让大改，并且推荐了几个修改语言的网站，是不是一定要这几个网站修改呢？没有米呀，希望大家指点一下 The reviewers, all experts in various aspects of your paper, have done a thorough evaluation of your paper and recommend major revisions in your manuscript. Thus, revision needs to address all issues raised. In particular, the referees recommended that you improve significantly the clarity of discussion and English usage. All must be corrected. Elsevier does not heavily edit language of the accepted papers, apart from correcting the spelling and obvious grammatical errors. You will need to have a fluent writer in English go over your manuscript and make corrections. Elsevier recommends the following editing services if you need them (at your cost): ASE (http://asiascienceediting.com) is an Indian based operations/Irish quality monitoring company, and Edanz Editing (http://www.edanzediting.nl) is an established high quality language editing company with offices in Japan and NL (and Shanghai in early 2006), and SPI Publisher Services (http://www.prof-editing.com) with Manila based operations. Or, there may be local editing services available to you that are cheaper, such as colleagues at your university. I would be willing to reconsider your paper for publication if you address carefully and in a detailed way all ISSUES raised in your RESPONSE TO THE REVIEWERS and make appropriate corrections in your MANUSCRIPT. NOTE: Not addressing any of the issues raised by the reviewers AND making appropriate modifications in your manuscript makes it more likely that your paper will be rejected, returned to you for further corrections, or sent out for a second round of reviews. Reviewers' comments: Reviewer #1: This manuscript has been revised carefully based on reference suggestions and it can be accepted in recent form. Reviewer #2: The authors declared that they found a method to synthesis grafted TiO2 hybrid powder using photo-induced self assembly method with the nitrogen protection. By Scopus, I found it is new. The paper is nicely written and seems to be based in sound and carefully performed experiments. The result shows that the photocatalytic activities of TiO2 samples increased about 2.3 times for the degradation of paracetamol under visible light irradiation. Therefore, I do think it is a novel method to synthesis an effective and stable catalyst. According to the things mentioned above, I recommend for publication in Catalysis Communications. Reviewer #3: Although many papers on the doping of TiO2 have been published during the last two decades, this one appears to be different. This is an interesting paper that should be published after minor revision. I recommend that this paper should be edited by a native English speaker. Other than that, no obvious changes are necessary in my opinion. |
