英国伦敦玛丽女王大学(QMUL)招收CSC全奖博士: THz频谱分析/超材料 Dear Potential Applicants, A QMUL-CSC PhD Studentship (enrolment in Sep 2025) available in Park Lab, Centre for Electronics (Antennas & Electromagnetics Research Group), School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL): Hello, my name is SaeJune Park, and I am an academic with a background in applied physics. I joined QMUL ~ 3 years ago and my research team has been growing quite quickly since then. We (Park Lab) have 5 team members including myself, 1 postdoc, 3 PhD students. All of us are working on terahertz science (photonics & electronics). I established the Terahertz Laboratory at QMUL, and it suits two terahertz spectroscopy systems with potential access to other microwave/mm-wave facilities in the Centre for Electronics (Antennas and Electromagnetics Research Group) where I belong. Currently, I have one QMUL-CSC PhD studentship available (enrolment in Sep 2025) with a full tuition fee waiver and a living stipend for 4 years. The application deadline is 29th Jan 2025, but the potential applicants are welcome to contact me to discuss their suitability and to investigate the details of the PhD project. The project title will be Enhancement of terahertz spectral fingerprints using plasmonic metamaterials. The Research Group/Centre has ~ 50 PhD students and ~ 10 postdocs. Also, I have good relationships with academics at various UK institutes (QMUL, Leeds, Warwick, NPL, Glasgow, Surrey, Loughborough, and Imperial etc…), meaning there will be interesting networking opportunities throughout the PhD programme too.
