英国伦敦玛丽女王大学(QMUL)招收CSC全奖博士: THz频谱分析 Primary supervisor:Dr Riccardo Degl’Innocenti (r.deglinnocenti@qmul.ac.uk) Title:Terahertz ultrafast spectroscopy of energy materials Abstract: Terahertz ultrafast spectroscopy is a powerful investigation tool, an all-optical technique that is currently used for the retrieval of fundamental properties, e.g. complex dielectric constant, conductivity, mobility, thickness in a plethora of materials. These include new 2D materials, e.g. graphene, Bi2Se3, and thin films in the photovoltaics field, as well as all-solid-state batteries and pharmaceutical tablets. Further to this, optical pump/THz probe spectroscopy permits to retrieve the photoinduced absorption and conductivity change with sub-ps time resolution, hence providing a fundamental tool for the design and characterization of more energy efficient materials and devices. The PhD project will target the experimental investigation and theoretical modelling of new materials for energy storage and modulation by using state of the art ultrafast time domain spectroscopic systems. 请联系Dr Riccardo Degl’Innocent, 邮箱: r.deglinnocenti@qmul.ac.uk |
