Multiple PhD student Openings in Professor Yanliang Zhang¡¯s Lab at University of Notre Dame Professor Yanliang Zhang¡¯s lab at the University of Notre Dame (A top 18 University in US) has multiple PhD student opening positions. The mission of our lab is to develop advanced materials and manufacturing methods in order to address major societal challenges in sustainable energy and precision health. We are working on cutting-edge research topics on multi-materials additive manufacturing, energy harvesting and sensing, and wearable/implantable devices for precision health. Our lab's groundbreaking research has been published in top journals including Nature, Advanced Materials, Energy & Environmental Science, Chemical Society Reviews, etc. Our research is multidisciplinary in nature, and we welcome students of all engineering and science majors to apply. The students have the opportunity to receive a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, and also a PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering if they participate in the MSE PhD program.
