各位朋友，现有一稿件已经第二次修改了，但有一位审稿人对我们的数据处理方式有异议，我也搞不清楚。请各位帮忙！ 试验设计简述如下： 我们采用A添加到饲料中饲养鸡，探讨A对不同日龄鸡的肌肉特性、生长特性的影响。用单因素方差分析的。 审稿人意见如下： Lines 137-141. Did you perform an ANOVA (variance analysis)? If so, indicate it clearly. In fact, statistical analysis is not clear. If I understood well, you have 6 replicates per diet treatment, one replicate being a group of 10 animals. You should use an ANOVA with values for each replicate (or each animal?) except for Table 3 for which you have a time effect in addition to the other effects. For some measurements, you have clearly values for each animal. In that case, you should use an ANOVA with a group effect and an animal effect plus the diet effect. The animal should be nested within the group effect. See Littell, R. C., P. R. Henry, and C. B. Ammerman. 1998. Statistical analysis of repeated measures data using SAS procedures. J. Anim. Sci. 76:1216−1231. Are the effects described in Tables 5 to 8 due directly to A or indirectly to changes in growth (body weight, carcass weight, ADG)? To answer this question, you have to perform an ANOVA with data from tables 5 to 8 with either body weighjt, carcass weight or ADG (or 2 or even 3 of these variables) as covariates. I strongly recommend this procedure. Otherwise, the results are questionable and we do not know if the observed differences are due to dietary A or are indirect effects. |
