从图中还可以看出,当处理时间一定时,功率密度越大,接触角下降的越多。例如在处理时间为2s时,4组功率密度下处理后的水接触角值分别由处理前的78°下降到51.5°、45°、36.5°和32.5°。PET薄膜表面水接触角在4组处理功率密度下到达饱和状态的处理时间分别为15s、10s、8s和5s,说明增大功率密度,利用更短的处理时间就可以达到相同的处理效果。
功率密度的增大对改性效果的影响可解释为,随着DBD处理功率密度的增大,放电空间产生的和材料表面作用的活性粒子数量增多,材料表面发生的物理化学反应更为迅速,因此利用更短的处理时间就可以达到与低功率密度作用下相同的处理效果。

Seen from the graph, when the treatment duration is defined, the contact angle falls faster with increasing power density. For example, when the duration is 2s, the contact angles drop to 51.5°, 45°, 36.5°, 32.5° from 78° before treatment under 4 different conditions of power density, respectively. The water contact angles on PET film surface will reach a saturation level after the treatment lasts 15s, 10s, 8s and 5s under the above 4 conditions, respectively, which shows that with increasing power density, shorter time will be needed to achieve the same treatment effect. The effect of increased power density on denaturation can be explained by that, with increasing DBD treatment power density, the active particles which are produced in discharging space and interact with material surface increase and physical or chemical reaactions on material surface take place more rapidly, so a shorter duration treatment will achieve the same result as lower power density.
