圣路易斯大学生物系生物信息学研究组（pi：dapeng zhang 副教授）拟招收博士研究生，计划于2025年秋季入学，提供全额奖学金。欢迎具有生物，计算机，数学及统计等相关专业背景、并且对科研感兴趣的学生申请。具体的研究课题包括：比较基因组; 蛋白质及基因组进化；开发新的数据分析方法; 鉴定微生物的毒素系统（比如最新的antiphage systems）及开发疾病治疗的应用；鉴定微生物抗生素的抑制机理和进化；机器学习及深度学习的基因组分析的应用。

关于圣路易斯大学：学校属于天主教私立大学，us news 大学排名 #105 （national universities），位于圣路易斯市，学校坏境非常漂亮，学生构成也很好。
关于圣路易斯市：这里是美国第20大城市，生活很方便，有很大的中国社区，很多中国商店，饭店。同时这里工作机会也非常多，比如著名的拜耳公司（前孟山都（monsanto）就在这里。同时还有sigma，百威啤酒，很多药厂及生物技术公司。
至于治安，实际上这里和美国的其他城市一样，有好区和坏区：城市北面治安不好，但是学校周围，及大家居住的城市西面南面都是很安全，漂亮的区域。
