We are also expecting the placement of quite a few new-generation Siemens scanners from 2024-2025, including 2nd generation PET/MR,  0.55T FreeMax, Photon counting CT, etc. The department of pediatrics at U of Iowa are considered world leaders in the care of extremely preterm infants born as early as 22 weeks and developmental hemodynamics related to the immature heart and circulation.
