Position Description: A Postdoctoral Researcher position is currently open at Case Western Reserve University, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The successful candidate will conduct advanced numerical simulations focusing on biological and physiological flows. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in numerical methods for PDEs and extensive hands-on programming experience in Fortran/C++. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in English, are also essential. Required Qualifications and Skills: • A PhD degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field • Extensive experience in coding and developing in-house simulation tools using Fortran and/or C++ • Strong expertise in at least one of the following areas: 1) Fluid-Structure Interaction; 2) Multiphase Flows; 3) Large-Eddy Simulation; 4) Adaptive Mesh Refinement • Proven track record of scientific publications How to Apply: To apply, please email Dr. Chengyu Li (cxl1692@case.edu) with the following application materials attached.
