Dear Colleagues,
Luminescent rare-earth nanomaterials, characterized by a broad spectral range, high photostability, and low toxicity, have emerged as exceptional luminescent materials for a variety of applications, including lighting, displays, biomedical imaging, sensing, optical security, optical storage, and photovoltaics.
This Special Issue seeks the submission of contributions spanning the wide spectrum of research on rare-earth nanomaterials, from synthesis to the exploration of their luminescent properties and strategies for luminescence modulation. The goal is to enhance the performance of rare-earth nanomaterials across various applications. We encourage submissions that highlight scientific and engineering breakthroughs, including novel synthesis techniques, characterization methods, luminescence mechanisms, innovative devices, and diversified applications.
We are pleased to invite submissions of papers in the area of luminescent rare-earth nanomaterials. This Special Issue aims to present the advances in luminescent rare-earth nanomaterials, thereby expanding their practical applications in various domains.
In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:
Preparation of luminescent rare-earth nanomaterials;
Characterization of luminescent rare-earth nanomaterials;
Luminescence properties and mechanisms;
Luminescence modulation;
Rare-earth nanomaterials-based devices;
Applications of luminescent rare-earth nanomaterials.
