Research direction for the position:
Postdoc candidates with background in electrolyte engineering, solid-state electrolyte, flow battery, ion battery, or flexible battery are preferred.
For HKPS candidates, the research direction should fit our group research interests.
Position requirement:
(1) For Postdoc researcher:
PhD with strong background in one or more of the areas stated above.
Main job responsibilities:
1) Development of own research and cooperation with doctoral students regarding their doctoral research
2) Collaboration in the design and formulation of scientific funding proposals
3) Conducting additional assigned tasks in independent research and project management
(2) For HKPFS applicant:
The candidates should meet the below basic requirement:
1) Excellent education background (C9, 985, or equivalent international educational background with GPA above 90%)
2) Excellent research ability demonstrated by publications
3) Cultural diversity/international experience
4) Leadership abilities and societal responsibility
We strongly encourage eligible candidates for HKPFS application. Awardees will each be entitled to an annual stipend of HK$337,200 (approximately US$43,230) and annual conference and research-related travel allowances of HK$14,000 (approximately US$1,790) for a period of up to three years. Awardees requiring more than three years to complete their PhD degree, additional support may be provided by the chosen universities.
