In both projects, however, the goal is not the synthesis itself, but exploring intriguing questions in block copolymer physics by designing and investigating new materials. The perfect candidate may be a graduate student who has done primarily synthesis, but wants to use those skills towards expanding their experience in block copolymer characterization, e.g. RSoXR-reflectivity, CD-RSoXS, electron microscopy, micro and nanofabrication, and understanding research at the intersection of fundamental questions and an application space. In any event, I would appreciate any help you can provide, and of course I will discuss projects in detail with any interested candidates.
