Dear Prof. Cheng: This is a manuscript by xxxxx and xxxxx entitled ” Development of a Galerkin boundary node method for biharmonic problems”. This paper is new. Neither the entire paper nor any part of its content has been published or has been accepted elsewhere. It is not being submitted to any other journal. We believe that two aspects of this manuscript will make it interesting to general readers of your journal. First, a Galerkin boundary node method (GBNM), for boundary-only analysis of biharmonic equations, is presented in this paper. GBNM is a meshless method, in which boundary conditions are implemented accurately and the system matrices are symmetric. Second, the theoretical analysis of this method is provided in Sobolev spaces.
