[香港城市大学]化学系朱光宇课题组诚招全奖博士生及博士后[2025年1月或2025年9月入学]

PhD Studentships in Anticancer Drug Discovery and Development Prof. Guangyu Zhu of the Department of Chemistry at the City University of Hong Kong, ranked top 70 in the QS World University Rankings, is offering PhD studentships, Postdoc, and Research Assistant positions, available immediately. Research in the Zhu Lab lies at the interface of chemistry and biology in the areas of anticancer drug discovery and development, drug delivery, and chemical biology. 朱光宇教授目前的研究领域包括新型抗癌药物的合成和机制研究,以及利用纳米药物载体提高抗癌药的生物活性。在铂类抗癌药物合成和作用机理方面掌握了一整套独到的研究技术。已在 Nat. Chem., Nat. Synth., Nat. Calal., Sci. Adv., Chem, JACS, Angew. Chem. Intl. Ed., PNAS, Cancer Research 等期刊发表100余篇有关抗癌药物合成和作用机理的研究论文(具体情况请见https://go.cityu.hk/rnopsm)。朱光宇教授现任中国化学会青年化学工作者委员会委员、亚洲生物无机化学执委会秘书、中国生物无机化学执委会委员、香港城市大学化学系博士课程及硕士课程主任、以及多个期刊的编委会委员。2023年当选香港青年科学院院士。 Qualifications: PhD applicants should have 1) a Bachelor’s degree from a top university with GPA higher than 80/100; a Master’s degree is preferred; 2) an acceptable grade on English test (TOEFL 79, or CET-6 490, or IELTS 6.5); 3) a strong research background and publication record in organic/inorganic synthesis or in vivo evaluation of anticancer complexes using animal models; 4) the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a good command of English, both oral and written. 申请人需本科或硕士毕业于双一流高校。 Interested applicants should send 1) CV including a publication list and grade on English test; 2) transcripts; 3) a summary of past research experience to guangzhu@cityu.edu.hk.
