2025 fall ph.d. position in learning and control
outstanding applications are solicited for 1~2 phd positions in real-time data-driven control and optimization of large-scale cyber-physical systems with a special emphasis on network of robots such as connected and autonomous vehicles, in the department of electrical and computer engineering at new york university. the selected student will be offered a phd fellowship which covers full-time tuition and stipend. the ideal candidate should have a passion for research and have a solid background in control systems or applied mathematics. preference will be given to students with working knowledge of ai/machine learning and dynamic programming, or are familiar with robotics, connected and autonomous vehicles or human-robot interaction.
