内布拉斯加大学林肯分校环境工程系Xu Li教授正在招收一名全奖博士生，于2025年春季入学。你将从事关于One Health方法应用于环境抗生素抗性基因的相关研究。要求至少应该具备环境工程、化学工程等专业的本科学位，有基本的使用英语交流和读写能力，若有分子生物学背景（如qPCR，下一代测序等）更好，但非必需。组内气氛和谐，李老师人非常好，特别尊重学生的想法。有意向的同学请直接联系李老师（xuli@unl.edu），并附带上相关材料（见下文详细介绍）。内布拉斯加大学林肯分校是内布拉斯加州公立旗舰大学，建于1869年。林肯位于内布拉斯加州东南部，城市很小但环境优美，人口大约为30万。欢迎大家联系咨询。谢谢！ PhD Position – One Health Approach to Address Antimicrobial Resistance Dr. Xu Li’s lab in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking a doctoral student to start in Spring 2025. Dr. Li’s research revolves around microbes critical to environmental quality and public health. By working at the interface of environmental engineering and applied microbiology, his research group aims to advance knowledge on microbial communities relevant to contaminant biotransformation, resource recovery, and antimicrobial resistance. The doctoral student will work on a research project that aims to study the role of the environmental component of the One Health approach in addressing antimicrobial resistance. The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s and/or a master’s degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a closely related field; strong academic records; excellent English communication skills; and high self-motivation. Experiences with molecular biology techniques (e.g., quantitative PCR and next generation sequencing) and bioinformatics are desirable, but not required.
