【求助】旧文献中的符号F表示摩尔浓度吗？

我在1949年的一篇分析化学杂志中见到这样一段话 “Five milliliters of carbon tetrachloride were taken in an iodine flask, followed by that volume of 12 F hydrochloric acid which when mixed with the 25 ml of potassium thiocyanate next added would give the initial hydrochloric acid concentration stated.” 其中“12 F hydrochloric acid ” 的符号F是表示摩尔浓度吗？ 文中还多次出现F |
