[交流] 新加坡国立大学Chng Shu Sin组（PI: Yushu Chen）招研究助理1-2名

a research assistant position is immediately available in assoc prof chng shu sin's lab in department of chemistry, national university of singapore. the successful candidate will work on studying fatty acid transport mechanisms in mycobacteria using genetic, biochemical and structural biology approaches.

duties:
conducting wet-lab research with bsl-1/2 organisms. the work will involve using 14c radioisotope, a low energy β emitter.
data analysis and paper writing with the principal investigator.
handling lab procurement of reagents and consumables.

qualifications:
a master's degree or above in any biology related field.
basic research skills in microbiology, genetics or biochemistry.
good written and spoken communication skills in english.
prior experience with cryo-em or liposomes is a plus.

the successful candidate will report to dr. yushu chen, a research fellow leading the mycobacteria subgroup. the maximum duration for the job is 2 years. the monthly salary starts from 3500 sgd per month, on top of other staff benefits such as insurance and performance bonus. within and after the two years, the candidate may be considered for a fully funded phd position in the lab.
