Postdoctoral Researcher Position Available Immediately The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Louisville is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will focus on simulating the dynamic behavior of multiphase architected materials. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement advanced computational models to study the dynamic behavior of multiphase architected materials. Analyze simulation results and collaborate with experimentalists to validate models. Prepare and present research findings in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Assist in mentoring graduate and undergraduate students. Qualifications: PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Strong background in computational mechanics and material science. Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and other numerical methods. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
