[交流] 新加坡南洋理工大学Prof. Tay组招聘能源材料和催化剂博后

Research Fellow: Nanomaterials for Energy Storage Systems and Catalysts

Two postdoctoral fellow positions are open in Prof. Tay’s group at the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). We are seeking potential researchers in electrochemical energy conversion and storage systems research areas including supercapacitors, batteries, and electrolyzers. The positions are immediately available and applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.

Research directions:
• Synthesis of advanced nanomaterials for energy storage and conversion systems (e.g., Li-S, Ca/Mg/Zn-ion batteries, supercapacitors)
• Design and fabrication of high-performance catalysts for metal-air batteries, water-splitting, and CO2 reduction

Job responsibilities:
• Synthesis of various nanomaterials with unique morphology and structure
• Design and fabrication of devices as well as corresponding electrochemical performance evaluation.
• Performing material characterization using different techniques.
• Publishing research articles in high-impact journals.
• Preparing monthly reports and presentations for project deliverables.

Job requirements:
• Possess Ph.D. degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related disciplines.
• Self-motived and demonstrated a good publication and research track record.
• Strong background in fabrication processes of nanomaterials.
• Experienced in material characterization techniques and device fabrication.
• Able to work effectively independently and in an interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills in written and oral English.
