FN ISI Export Format VR 1.0 PT J AU Li, HR AF Li, Huanrong TI Analysis and application of finite volume element methods to a class of partial differential equations SO JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS AND APPLICATIONS AB The finite volume element (FVE) methods for a class of partial differential equations are discussed and analyzed in this paper. The new initial values are introduced in the finite volume element schemes, and we obtain optimal error estimates in L-p and W-1,W-p (2 <= p <= infinity) as well as some superconvergence estimates in W-1,W-p (2 <= p <= infinity).
