[2025全奖&港府奖学金]香港中文大学招收大数据系统，云计算，信息安全方向PhD

香港中文大学（CUHK）信息工程系（IE）的Wing Cheong Lau教授目前正在招收2025年入学的PhD，研究方向主要为cybersecurity, Cloud Computing and Big Data Systems。符合资格的同学就学期间将获得全额奖学金（目前18K+HKD/month）覆盖，优秀的同学可以申请港府奖学金HKPFS（22K+/month）。 CUHK的IE department将会在今年暑期召开夏令营（for 2025 PhD candidates），有意向的同学可以报名参加夏令营。夏令营期间会发放大量提前批offer，优秀的同学可以获得申请HKPFS的推荐资格（报名截止日为2024年4月17日）。 Professor Wing Cheong Lau的个人主页如下： https://staff.ie.cuhk.edu.hk/~wclau/ 欢迎有意向的同学可以直接向Professor Lau发送（英文）邮件(wclau@ie.cuhk.edu.hk)进行咨询。 招生信息具体如下： Dear all, The research group of Prof. Wing C. Lau ( https://www.ie.cuhk.edu.hk/wclau ) in the Department of Information Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is seeking new PhD students for 2025 in the following research areas: 1. Systems/ Software/ Network Security and Privacy 2. Design, Performance Analysis and Implementation of Systems for Distributed Machine Learning, Cloud Computing and Big Data Processing Applicants should have strong academic records, solid technical background and passionate interest in one or more of the following areas: - Cybersecurity and Hands-on System/ Software Hacking experience ; - Program Analysis and Verification - Large-scale Software/ System Building/ Proto-typing, - Networking Systems/ Protocols Design and Implementation, - Distributed Systems and Parallel Processing - Machine Learning, Mathematical Optimization, Graph theory and algorithms - Stochastic Modeling and Performance Analysis Strong candidates should email their CV to wclau@ie.cuhk.edu.hk。 To be considered for early admission offers, interested students should also sign up for the HKPFS (Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme) Summer Workshop organized by CUHK Faculty of Engineering, to be held in July 2024 in Hong Kong.
