PhDs in Transport Engineering at Monash University

Dr. zhuo chen from monash university is looking for 2 PhD students in 1) active transport, 2) low carbon transport policy and practice, 3) public transport and ride-hailing, 4) transport economy. The students are expected to work at the monash clayton campus (melbourne, australia) for 1 year and at monash suzhou research institute for 2.5 years. The candidate will be funded through a university scholarship, including a four-year tuition waiver and 3.5-year living stipends (60k rmb/year in suzhou and 35k aud/year in melbourne). more information about Dr. chen is available at https://www.monash.edu/engineering/zhuochen. monash university is a member of the group of eight, an alliance of leading australian universities recognized for their excellence in teaching and research. it is consistently ranked in the world's top 100 universities (#57 by times higher education 2022, #58 by qs 2022, and #40 by us news 2022). transportation science & technology in monash is ranked 34th in the world (academic ranking of world universities, 2022).
