Reviewers' comments:

films without using palladium catalyst. However, as a research article, it lacked enough experiments and discussions. More experiments and more discussions are needed. A major revision, including further experiments, has to be done before acceptance.

My comments are listed in the following,

- How about the effect of CMC concentration on PET film on the formation of Ni? The data should be very interesting for the readers.

- How about the influence of the reaction time and the concentration of Ni2+ on the formation of Ni?

- The format in this manuscript is not uniform. It should be corrected.

- English should be improved.

- I think that the author has to better explain the result of characterization.
