美国·路易斯安那州·新奥尔良市 xavier university of louisiana 博后招聘 诚招博士后！！！ 大家好，欢迎相关方向的即将毕业的博士或是已经毕业的博士申请xavier university of louisiana的博士后。实验室条件以及待遇都很不错。欢迎大家咨询和投递简历。具体信息如下： Job Description – Data Scientist A full-time Data Scientist position is available at the Data Science Facility of the NIH Xavier RCMI Center for Cancer Research, Xavier University of Louisiana. This position is sought as part of a newly funded NIH RCMI center grant in the development of novel data science approaches to understand the mechanisms of cancer and/or cancer health disparities. Some of the Facility’s recent publications, such as Bioinformatics, 2022, PMID: 35561191; Cancer Prev Res. 2022, PMID: 34965922; Cancer Epidemiol Biomarkers Prev, 2019, PMID: 30262601, can be located at the Pubmed Database. The successful candidate will assist the facility users and research project investigators with analysis, visualization, interpretation and organization of data for publications and grant applications. He/she will also be involved in providing computational/data science solutions on collaborative projects with researchers at partner institutions, such as Tulane University, Ochsner Health System and the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans. . Requirements: • PhD degree in Computer Science/Data Science/(Bio)Statistics/Applied Mathematics/ Bioinformatics/Public Health or other quantitative sciences; • Experience in the development of statistical machine learning methods and/or data science algorithms/pipelines • Solid programming skills, and the ability to work independently • Good written and oral communication skills, • Additional experience in large-scale medical records/social/behavioral data analyses would be a plus.
