谁能帮忙找篇关于量子点由来,定义的综述。当然如果能介绍量子点发展现状的更好。

其实第一个文献我看过,我就是很疑惑,有的文章说semiconductor
nanocrystals, also known as quantum dots;Nanoparticles of semiconductor materials 我觉得nanocrystals和Nanoparticles应该还是有区别的吧。所以想系统了解到底什么是量子点
还有量子点这个概念从什么地方来得呢?

nanoparticles可以是各种形态,如晶体,非晶,只要尺寸符合定义。因此nanocrystals属于nanoparticles

QDs are semiconductor nanocrystals:
1: a class of materials intermediate between molecular and bulk forms  of matter.
2: Whose size is comparable or smaller than the bulk exciton Bohr radius
3: Whose effective band gap energy is dependent on its size, higher than its bulk value.
Semiconductor QDs normally belong to nanocrystals, but nanocrystals are not QDs sometimes.

量子点(quantum dot)是准零维(quasi-zero-dimensional)的纳米材料,由少量的原子所构成。粗略地说,量子点三个维度的尺寸都在100纳米 (nm)以下,外观恰似一极小的点状物,其内部电子在各方向上的运动都受到局限,所以量子局限效应(quantum confinement effect)特别显著。由于量子局限效应会导致类似原子的不连续电子能阶结构,因此量子点又被称为「人造原子」(artificial atom)

Quantum dots (QDs), also called as nanocrystals, are a special class of semiconductor crystals which are compose of periodic groups of II-VI, III-V, or IV-IV materials, such as CdSe (Lee et al., 1998; Strassburg et al., 2000; Kratzert et al., 2001), InAs (Ebiko et al., 1998, 1999; Nakata et al., 2000; Márquez et al., 2001; Joyce et al., 2001; Yamaguchi et al., 2000; Migliorato et al., 2002; Krzyzewski etal., 2002; Wasserman et al., 2003; Bester et al., 2003), InP (Seifert et al., 1996; Schmidbauer et al., 2002; Persson et al., 2003) and Ge QDs (Eaglesham et al., 1990; Liu et al., 1997; Kamins et al., 1997; Ross et al., 1998; Ribeiro et al., 1998; Vailionis et al., 2000; Liu et al., 2000; Denker et al., 2001; Tersoff et al., 2002; Rastelli et al., 2002, 2003; ). Semiconductors derive their great importance from the fact that their electrical conductivity can be altered by adding an external stimulus, such as voltage. Therefore, semiconductors can be used to make critical parts of many different kinds of electrical circuits and optical applications. Semiconductor QDs, as a special structure, have their name because their small size causes quantum confinement and creates specific electronic states (Reithmaier et al., 2004; Badolato et al., 2005; Xu et al., 2007). Due to the quantum confinement and specific electronic states, QDs enable never before seen applications to science and technology.
