about cityu 关于香港城市大学 city university of hong kong (cityu) is one of the world's leading universities, known for innovation, creativity and research. uniquely located at the heart of asia's world city, cityu aims to pursue excellence, promote innovation and nurture creativity for hong kong, the region and the world. worldwide recognition ranking #54 (qs 2023), and #4 among universities under age 50 (qs 2021). 香港城市大学是一所世界知名的国际化公立研究型综合大学。校园地处九龙商业区，港铁九龙塘站，背靠狮子山。2023年qs世界大学排名第 54名，香港地区排名第4，qs 建校未满 50 年最佳大学第 4 名，aruw 工程/技术/计算机科学香港地区第 1 名。 1. scheme type 招生类型 fully-funded ph.d. 全奖博士生，次年9月入学，申请截止时间为今年12月1日。 2. requirements 对候选人的要求 1). meet the cityu's minimum english proficiency requirement for research degree programmes.达到港城大规定的最低英文水平要求。详情参阅https://www.cityu.edu.hk/pg/rese ... trance-requirements 之 “english proficiency requirement” 部分 。 2). according to the department policy, full scholarships will be preferentially funded to students who meet one or more of the following conditions 根据院系政策，全额奖学金将首先资助符合以下两种条件之一的本科或硕士生： a. 本科毕业于双一流a类或全球前100（4大排行榜）高校。其中，均分达到85（或gpa达到3.5）或本科毕业于c9高校者优先。 b. 以一作、共同一作、或通讯作者发表过sci q1论文。该论文能够体现以下研究经验之一者优先：i) 具备计算流体力学理论基础且熟悉工具（如palm4u, ansys fluent, openform, 自编程序, weather research & forecasting model (wrf) 等）。ii) 具备建筑性能模拟理论基础且熟悉工具（如energyplus, 自编程序, rhino-grasshopper插件ladybug/honeybee/butterfly等）。iii) 具备大气边界层风洞实验经验。vi) 具备城市风热气候/建筑室内环境实测经验。 3). we welcome candidates with a background from architecture, landscape, urban planing, architectural engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, computer science, applied physics, geographical science, energy system, giscience, etc. 主要面向建筑环境与设备、建筑学、城市规划、风景园林、建筑技术、土木工程、大气科学、地理信息、能源环境 领域或研究方向涉及以上领域的同学。也欢迎机械、计算机、应用物理、流体力学及相关专业的同学申请。 3. research area 研究方向 include but not limited to 包括但不限于: 1). performance-driven architecture and urban design 性能驱动型建筑/城市设计 2). low carbon and sustainable building technology 低碳可持续建筑技术 3). urban climates 城市气候 4). environmental wind engineering 环境风工程 4. the programme offer 将为录取学生提供 1). the research group offers excellent working conditions and fosters a positive and joyful atmosphere. 优良的工作条件，积极快乐的课题组氛围。以学生的学术前途为导向，助力其快速成长为一位独立、优秀的学者。 2). academic collaborations with renowned institutes and research groups internationally, including eth zürich, the national university of singapore, karlsruhe institute of technology, and the hong kong university of science and technology. 课题组与瑞士苏黎世联邦理工学院、新加坡国立大学、德国卡尔斯鲁厄理工学院、香港科技大学等海内外著名大学和知名研究组长期保持学术合作。推荐毕业生赴海外顶尖机构深造，以及内地985高校任教。 3). the normal scholarship is approximately 215,000 hkd per year. hong kong phd fellowship scheme (hkpfs) has a yearly stipend of approximately 330,000 hkd 若获得全奖录取，每年奖学金约21.5万港币，共计4年。若获得港府奖学金录取，每年奖学金约33万港币并豁免学费。 5. about the pi 关于导师 dr. janssen xing zheng is currently postdoctoral research fellow and module coordinator at the future cities lab global, singapore-eth center. he will join hongkong cityu as an asst. professor (pi) by 2023. he earned his ph.d. degree from the eindhoven university of technology, the netherlands, supervised by prof. bert blocken. possessing a dual background in architectural and building science, his areas of research focused on the nexus of "urban climates ╟ building performance", with the overall aim to provide a sustainable, low carbon, and energy-efficient built environment and other enclosures. he is a youth editorial board member of journal building simulation and early career editorial board member of architectural intelligence. 课题组pi郑星博士目前任职于苏黎世联邦理工学院未来城市实验室（新加坡），将于2023年末加入香港城市大学建筑学及土木工程学系，任长聘教轨助理教授/博士生导师。他分别于重庆大学和东南大学取得建筑学学士和硕士学位，于荷兰埃因霍芬理工大学取得哲学博士学位。他在applied energy, renewable energy, bae等建环领域顶刊共发表sci论文20余篇，担任sci q1期刊青年编委、客座编辑，20余种sci期刊审稿人。曾获得亚洲建筑师协会学生设计竞赛中国大陆赛区第一名、尼泊尔-西藏地震全球建筑师灾后重建设计方案竞赛一等奖、“中联杯”国际大学生建筑设计竞赛二等奖等荣誉。 6. contact 申请方式 please send the following materials to the email address 请感兴趣的同学将以下材料发送至邮箱：x.zheng@cityu.edu.hk. please specify the subject "full scholarship phd application + name" or "self-financing phd application + name": 1). a complete personal resume, including major educational and research experiences, key research skills, undergraduate/master's transcripts, published articles (if any), etc. 完整的个人简历，包括主要教育和科研经历，主要科研技能，本科/硕士成绩单，发表文章( 如有）等。 2). any other materials that can demonstrate personal experiences, qualities, and abilities. 其它能够说明个人经历、特质及能力的材料（如有）。 [only shortlisted candidates will be contacted] [ Last edited by U_P_a_D on 2023-11-19 at 20:09 ] |
