工作总结:
申请人应在以下领域具有深厚的研究背景与兴趣:可充电电池,如锂硫电池、金属空气电池和固态电池等;先进可充电电池材料的合成、电化学表征(CV、EIS、循环和原位表征)和机理研究;博士后将有机会开展与其职业目标相一致的合作研究项目以及产生高影响力研究的实验工作。
备注:考虑到研究项目的开始时间以及签证等因素,对于持有美国签证(J1或H1B)或者绿卡的、人在美国的中国博士生或者博士后,将会优先考虑。
最低要求:

工作责任:
• 二次电池材料的设计与开发(20%)

Postdoc Researcher Position
Job Summary:
Applicants should have a strong background and interest in the following areas: rechargeable batteries such as Li-S battery, metal-air battery, and solid-state batteries. Synthesis of materials for advanced rechargeable batteries, electro-chemical characterization (CV, EIS, cycling, and in-situ characterization) and mechanistic study. The postdoc will have opportunities to carry out collaborative research projects aligned with their career goals as well as experimental efforts that generate high‐impact research.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in materials science and engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• Research experience and track record of publications in advanced rechargeable batteries and electro-chemical characterization.
Job Duties:
• Design and development of materials for rechargeable batteries (20%)
• Electro-chemical characterization of electrodes and active materials (20%)
• Writing journal papers and publication in high-reputation journals (30%)
• Advise students and collaborate with other researchers (10%)
• Support advisor in writing proposal and proposal submission (5%)
• Support advisor in preparing reports to sponsored programs (5%)
• Support advisor in lectures (5%)
• Presentation of research outcomes to relevant meetings or conferences (5%)
