由英国大不列颠药物学会(The Pharmaceutical Society of Britain)的药物科学部(Department of Pharmaceutical Science)所属的药典出版社(The Pharmaceutical Press)编辑出版的一部非法定药典。因其编者Milliam Martindale而得名。全书分为三个部分，第一部分为医院制剂，按药物作用类别分类；第二部分为辅助药物部分，按字顺排序；第三部分为专利药物部分。书末附有厂商索引、药物临床用途索引和总索引。从1983年第一版起最新版为1999年的第32版。最新版为36版。
