title: additive manufacturing of high-performance ceramics.

required background of the student:
1. candidates should have a master's degree in materials science or mechanical engineering;
2. candidates should have at least one of the following expertise about computational methods such as finite element method, the volume of fluid, phase field, cellular automata, etc;
3. background in ceramics fabrication (sla, 3dp, and slm...) or their post-treatment will be a clear advantage;
4. the candidates should have expertise in the structure/property analysis of the am alloys/composites using various micro-analytical tools including sem, xrd, micro-ct, eds, tem, and ebsd
5. candidates should be able to work in a multidisciplinary environment and be fluent in english (both oral and written; ielts at least 6.5, each part more than 5.5)
