1.招生类型：博士招生 2.招收学校名称：University of Waterloo （滑铁卢大学） 3.学制，何种专业及要求 Professors Wei-Chau Xie and Mahesh Pandey, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Waterloo, are recruiting one Ph.D. student in the following area: Seismic analysis and design with applications in the nuclear power industry. The specific topic of research is on seismic analysis of small modular reactors (SMRs) considering soil-structure interaction. The candidate should have graduated from a 211/985/Double First Class initiative university and have already obtained a Master's degree, with a strong background in structural engineering and geotechnical engineering. Research experience on structural dynamics, random vibration, and soil-structure interaction at a Master's degree level is most welcome. The candidate can start in September 2024.
