PhD and Postdoc Positions of Biosimulation at U of South Carolina

本课题组 在University of South Carolina招收博士生和博士后(各1名)。课题的研究方向是生物材料模拟计算。 (1) 博士生职位 (化学工程或者生物医药工程): 研究方向是生物计算(protein docking, protein-ligand binding, nucleotide-protein interaction, or/and interfacial redox and electron transfer, 量子和分子模拟) 和实验，machine learning相结合。 提供全奖 ，年工资$30,000，学费免除。2024年的春季或者秋季入学。 基本要求： 1.数学基础好的理工科本科生或者硕士生，都可以申请。欢迎化工，生工，材料，机械，环境, 计算机，EE, 化学，物理，生物等理工专业的学生来申请； 2.能熟悉C++, C, Fortran或者Python， 有一定的编程基础 ； 3. Tofel的最低分是 80, or IELTS 最低分 6.5; GRE不要求；GPA > 3.2; 如果有以下研究经验的同学非常欢迎申请，但不是必要要求：simulations (quantum, atomistic MD, CG MD, DPD, MC, CFD, numerical computations or machine learning) or electrochemistry/bio- experiments。 (2) 博士后职位：课题方向是 生物计算。博士后年工资是$57k-60k, 初始工作期限两年. 入职时间是2023年底-2024年春/夏。 要求： 1) Expertise in MD simulations (atomistic and coarse-grained), DPD simulations, QM/MM, AIMD, or/and kinetic Monte Carlo. 2) Expertise in the simulations of protein docking, protein-ligand binding, polymers, or/and interfacial redox and electron transfer. 3) Good programming skills.
