Provide a detailed legend (without abbreviations) to each figure, refer to the figure in the text and note its approximate location in the margin.

不知道这个note its approximate location in the margin应该怎么处理？
有经验的帮我理解一下，谢谢
另外，还提到了the approximate location of Figures and Tables should be indicated in the margin.
