Postdoctoral Researcher Positions Are you interested in pursuing a career in the exciting interdisciplinary field of Civil Engineering and Artificial Intelligence? Multiple postdoc and RA positions are available in Professor Jize Zhang’s group at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Who We Are: Professor Jize Zhang is currently the Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Prior to joining HKUST, he was a research scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). Our research interests for the positions include: • Computer vision for building façade inspection • Storm surge modelling Our Expectations: The ideal candidates will graduate from a top university, with publications in top journals and conferences. For postdocs, they should be able to develop and realize research ideas independently. Candidates with research experience in the aforementioned areas will be preferred. Salary and Benefits: The successful candidates will receive a competitive salary with HKUST benefits and a travel allowance. • Postdoc: HKD$ 35000 per month, negotiable.
