【专题】拯救ATRP的中国人--王锦山

据WallStreetJournal(see the attached link)由王锦山校友发明的ATRP赫然列为2009年化学诺奖的5个夺标热门之一。问题是CMU的老马一手遮天，使得大部分报道只提他一人。事实是王因该是inventor而马只不过是co-inventor。If we let the matter go, it is possible Wang will not be mentioned let alone a share of this grand prize. Unfortunately, there is no such a thing as "review" in Nobel Prize as in NFL so I urge you to share your idea as how we can help to secure Dr. Wang's share in the invention, potentially winning the Nobel prize before it 's too late. we're thinking about sending a memo to the Swidish Committee along with supporting records (US patents, JACS paper, C&EN cover story, etc ). Much appreciation!! |
