the absorption peak at 502 cm-1 was due to the out-of-plane skeletal vibration of the Si-O bond in β-C2S [23,29]. The Si-O stretching vibration peak in the C-S-H gel varying from 965 cm-1 to 975 cm-1[39]. The broad peak at around 1200 cm-1 corresponds to the Si-O stretching of condensed silica that existed in Si-gel [40]. The asymmetric stretching of the C-O bond in calcite was located at 1410 cm-1, and the bending vibration (υ2) outside the C-O bond plane was near 875 cm-1[13]. The characteristic vibration of aragonite and vaterite located approximately at 713 cm-1 and 745 cm-1(υ4), and the stretching vibration showed at 1070-1085 cm-1(υ1) and at 713 cm-1 were also due to the C-O bond from calcium carbonates [41–42]. The asymmetric stretching of CO32– was in the range of 1400-1500 cm-1(υ3) [21,40].
