From then on, it has witnessed an increasing need for its activities from modern society. The Society ,as of June 2004, has about 13,000 members and has become one of the most active and largest societies among over 100 societies in Japan. The Year 1999 marked its 50th anniversary. The official abbreviation of the Society is JGS. |
