[交流] 图片投稿后未通过审核该如何处理

我上周投Materials science and engineering，A，这周告诉我文章格式不对，具体意见如下：

Technical Screener Elsevier Editorial Services has DECLINED to take on this assignment.

The Editor has provided the following reason for this decision:

1) All figures put at the end of the manuscript should be labeled, eg., as Figure 1 , Figure 2, etc.

2) All the figures should be numbered sequentially in the figure caption list.

我的疑问是，
1)这两个意见是什么意思啊？图不是一张一张上传吗，怎么还要在文章后面编号啊，不懂
2）在文中，如图1中有五张小图，图1-1等这样的，我投稿时图标题应该怎么写，那个图标题又该怎么写啊，请各位专家赐教，多谢多谢

图片即使一张张传，也得在上传时把标签写清，如Figure 1 , Figure 2, etc.
再列出figure caption 是注意按顺序标号。Figure 1包括几个的话最好用，a, b, c,等表示，不要用1.1或1-1等。
