The CNR is led by Distinguished Professor Michel Boufadel. Students could be enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field. The researchers in the CNR have been conducting research on fundamental and applied aspects of fluid dynamics, especially in relation to multiphase flow. The research is 70/30 modeling/experimental, and the latter would be conducted using the latest techniques for detection and visualization. Candidates with a Master degree are preferred, and they should have good communication skills, solid knowledge of fluid mechanics and mathematics, and be willing to interact with a large team. Prior experience in CFD modeling and coding is an asset but not required.
