[交流] 英国伯明翰大学博后-MOF等纳米多孔材料

a postdoctoral research fellow position is available to work on a prestigious ukri future leaders fellowship: nanofluidic energy absorption of metal-organic frameworks (mofs). nanoporous materials such as mofs are having their applications in mechanical energy absorption. they can offer extremely small hydrophobic pores that are comparable to the size of water molecules, squeezing liquid water into these tiny nanopores can create large solid-liquid interfaces and dissipate huge amounts of mechanical energy. applications are invited from chemists, crystallographers, or material scientists with experience in the synthesis and structural characterisation of nanoporous materials. they will make materials and understand their high-pressure water adsorption behaviours. due to the interdisciplinarity of the research, applications from other relevant backgrounds may also be considered. the successful candidate will benefit from a new lab facility, interdisciplinary research team, and world-class collaboration network, and be supported with dedicated and flexible budget for their own professional and career development.
