【通告】十月的国际化学周——纪念元素周期表140周年

以下为ACS发给俺的，呵呵，和大家分享了 NCW 2009: "Chemistry – It's Elemental!" Mark your calendar: This year's National Chemistry Week (NCW) celebration will be October 18-24, 2009, and the NCW theme this year is "Chemistry – It's Elemental," in recognition of the 140th anniversary of the Periodic Table of the Elements. On the NCW web page, you can download the 2009 edition of the NCW publication, "Celebrating Chemistry," which contains hands-on activities and articles geared for students in grades 4–6. You can also find the NCW Enthusiast online order form; there's still time to order your very own commemorative periodic table poster, exclusively produced by ACS, for this occasion (also sold in packs of 100 notebook-sized sheets, GREAT for classroom visits!). In addition, you'll find links to help you connect with local NCW coordinators and events, so take this opportunity to get involved with NCW in your area – the most important element of NCW is your participation! |
