may be area mapping. it is:

after it finishes scanning a line on your sample, the AFM tip moves along the line normal to the next point and starts another scanning parallel to the first line... its trace on your sample is just like the pattern of a grating. [ Last edited by bote on 2009-9-21 at 16:06 ] |
