| Benzofuran skeleton is one of important heterocyclic compounds in nature. these compounds have the efficacy of bactericidal, antiviral, immunosuppressive agents, anti-cancer and so on, therefore, they have aroused great interest of scientists to carry out further research on this field and great accomplishments have been reached so far. In nineties the twentieth century, Scammerlls and others found A1 adenosine receptor antagonist in the treatment of cardiovascular, Ishibashi and others synthsesized 5-a reductase inhibitors and something else in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.these kinds of agents have a more prominent role due to the benzene and furan ring in the structure . As time goes by,more researchers will put more concern on the further research of the biological activity of heterocyclic compounds. |
