Dear colleagues, The open access journal Electronics (ISSN ?2079-9292?, IF 2.690) is pleased to announce that we have launched a new Special Issue entitled "Trends and Perspectives in Photodetectors." I am serving as Guest Editor for this issue. Given the depth of your expertise in this field, I would like to cordially invite you to contribute an article to the Special Issue. Papers may be submitted from now until 20 May 2023 as papers will be published on an ongoing basis if accepted for publication following peer review.
